They are the ones who can be eligible to join a skill development training program set up with the cooperation of Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) www.nttftrg.com and Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC). ITI, Diploma, and Graduate Engineering degree holders of affected families are allowed to secure admission in the program to increase their employability.
Around six months, training programs will be initiated at the three major centers of NTTF, which are located in Vellore, Trichy, and Bangalore. Main learning areas comprise Senior Manual Metal Arc Welder, Draughtsman Mechanical, Technician Instrumentation, CNC/VMC, CNC Programmer, Web Developer, Junior Software Developer, Designer Mechanical, and Mechatronics Maintenance Specialist.
