Eligibility Criteria for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2026
Candidates must fulfil the required eligibility criteria before applying online. The eligibility cut-off date is 31 May 2026.
Nationality
A candidate must be one of the following:
Indian citizen, subject of Nepal or Bhutan, Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962, or a person of Indian origin who migrated from eligible countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Educational Qualification

Local Language Test
Candidates applying for a particular state must be able to read, write, speak and understand one of the specified local or official languages of that state.

However, candidates who have studied the specified local language in Class 10 or Class 12 may not be required to appear for the language test, if they produce the required mark sheet.
