Eligibility Criteria for BEL Vacancy 2020:

Educational Qualification:

1.	Project Engineer-I	Full time (4 years) BE/B.Tech course from reputed Institute/University in the following Engineering disciplines –Electronics/Electronics & Communication/ E&T/ Telecommunication. First Class in the indicated qualification for General, OBC and EWS candidates and Pass Class for SC, ST and PWD candidates. The method of conversion of CGPA to percentage has to be attached. Post qualification Experience as on 01.02.2020: a) Project Engineer –I: Candidates should possess a minimum two years’ relevant industry experience. b) The relevant post qualification industry experience shall be in the following areas: Candidates preferred having a minimum of 6 months’ experience in Surveillance/Information Technology/Network Projects. Preference is given to candidates having relevant certificates in the above-mentioned areas

Selection Procedure for BEL:

Selection Procedure:

1. a) Selections will be conducted at Bangalore only.
   b) Candidates meeting the qualifying criteria and whose online application has been accepted will be shortlisted for the written test.
   c) Selection will be through a Written Test followed by an Interview, only for those candidates who qualify in the written test.
   d) Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria and whose online application has been accepted are required to log on to the website and enter their application number to access and download their written test call letter. Candidates are requested to print the call letter and comply with the instructions indicated therein. Please note that call letters will not be sent through email or conventional mail.
   e) The results of the final selection will be available on the BEL website through query mode
   Application Fee/Exam Fee:

1. a) Project Engineer: General, EWS and OBC candidates are required to remit an amount of Rs. 500/-
2. b) The application fee should be remitted through SBI Collect (through online mode or through SBI Branch). Candidates are requested to read the details and screenshots for making the payment.
3. c) Candidates can also make the payment by approaching the SBI branch. You have to select the SBI branch in the payment option and download pre-printed challan generated through SBI Collect and deposit the application fee (as applicable) plus applicable bank charges in any SBI Branch. The candidate should ensure to obtain the seal and signature of the bank official.
4. d) General candidates have to enter the “SBI Collect reference No.” generated after payment, in the Online Application Form before proceeding to fill the other details in the Application form. SC/ST/ PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
5. e) Candidates may go through all instructions and eligibility criteria carefully before remitting Application Fee and submitting the application. Fee once paid will not be refunded.
