RBI Grade B Recruitment Educational Qualification
- Grade ‘B’ (DR) – General: Graduation in any discipline or equivalent technical/professional qualification with minimum 60% marks. For SC/ST/PwBD, minimum 50% marks if posts are reserved for them. OR Post-Graduation in any discipline or equivalent qualification with minimum 55% marks. For SC/ST/PwBD, pass marks if posts are reserved for them.
- Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR: MA/MSc in Economics or related economics courses such as Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Economics, Applied Economics, Econometrics, Financial Economics, Business Economics, Agricultural Economics, Industrial Economics, Development Economics or International Economics. OR MA/MSc in Finance or related finance courses such as Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, International Finance, Business Finance, Banking and Trade Finance, Corporate Finance, Project and Infrastructure Finance or Agri Business Finance. Minimum 55% marks required; 50% for SC/ST/PwBD where applicable.
- Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM: Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks in Statistics, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Applied Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Econometrics, Informatics or related branches. OR Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics or related branches. OR four-year Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 60% marks in relevant statistics/data science/AI/ML/big data fields. For SC/ST/PwBD, minimum 50% marks where applicable.
- Experience: Not required for basic eligibility, but research/teaching experience is desirable for DEPR/DSIM and may give age relaxation as per rules.
- Nationality: Citizen of India, subject of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugee who came before January 01, 1962, or person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries, subject to Government of India eligibility certificate where required.
