KVS Class 1 Admission 2026 — Age Limit & Eligibility
Age eligibility is the most critical factor for KVS Class 1 admission. The age is calculated as on March 31, 2026. Here’s what you need to know:

- 🎂 Maximum Age: 8 Years (as on March 31, 2026)
- 📌 This age limit applies strictly to Class 1 admission only.
- 📌 For Class 2 and other class admissions, refer to the official KVS notification for the applicable age criteria.
💡In Simple terms: If your child has been born in between April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2020 they will be eligible for admission to Class 1 in the academic year of the year as well. Children born outside this range are ineligible.
How to Fill KVS Class 1 Admission Online Form 2026-27?

- New Registration — Click the New Registration button Fill in your child’s name, date of birth,your mobile no & email ID to register. You will get a unique Login Code / Registration Number — note it down carefully.
- APPLICATION FORM FILL UP — Login with your credentials. Provide all information regarding the child and parents accurately. Choose up to three Kendriya Vidyalayas of your choice in order of preference. Follow the on-screen instructions to upload required documents.
- Preview and Submit: Review the entire form carefully before submitting. Once satisfied, click Submit.
- Save Confirmation — After the submission download and take a print out of confirmation receipt / application form for future reference & document verification.
