NEET MDS 2026: NEET MDS (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery) is the single national-level entrance examination for admission to MDS programmes across India. It is conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) — the same body that oversees NBE, NEET PG, and FMGE.
Every BDS graduate who wishes to pursue a postgraduate dental specialisation — whether Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Periodontics, Endodontics, or any other branch — must qualify NEET MDS. Your NEET MDS 2026 score will be used by government and private dental colleges, deemed universities, and ESIC/Armed Forces institutions for their respective MDS counselling rounds.
For the 2026 cycle, the exam window is tight: registration opened March 14 and closes March 30, 2026. The exam itself is on May 2, 2026 — giving registered candidates roughly five weeks to prepare.
