BARC is offering 105 Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) across various scientific disciplines for 2026. BARC JRF Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification:

Candidates must meet the following educational criteria:

• B.Sc.: Minimum 60% aggregate marks.

• M.Sc.: Minimum 55% aggregate marks.

• 5-year Integrated M.Sc. or B.S.-M.S. (Dual degree): Minimum 55% aggregate marks.

• 4-year B.S. (with 4th-year Research): Minimum 75% aggregate marks.

• Must have cleared a national-level exam (e.g., UGC-CSIR-NET, GATE, JEST, etc.).

Age Limit:

• Under 28 years as of 1st August 2026.

• Relaxation of age is available for OBC-NCL (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), and PwBD candidates (10 years).

Salary Details:

• Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): ₹37,000 per month for the first 2 years.

• Senior Research Fellowship (SRF): ₹42,000 per month from the 3rd year onwards (based on performance).

• Contingency Grant: ₹60,000 per year, including book allowance.
