Educational Qualification:

| 1. | Counsellor (ICTC) | Essential: i) Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Psychology/ Social Work/ Sociology/ Anthropology/ Human Development/ Nursing; with minimum 1-year experience after PG degree/ diploma, of working in field of counselling in the health sector; preferably in HIV/ AIDS OR Graduate in Psychology/ Social Work/ Sociology/ Anthropology/ Human Development/ Nursing; with minimum 3 years experience after graduation, of working in the field of counselling in the health sector; preferably in HIV/ AIDS. In the case of those recruited from the community of people infected with or affected by HIV/ AIDS, the experience will be relaxed to a minimum of one year of experience in the.field of HIV/ AIDS. | 2. | Lab Technician (ICTC) | Essential: i) Graduate in Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc); with minimum 1-year experience after graduation OR Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT); with minimum 2 years experience after diploma. The Services of existing LTs who do not hold a DMLT may be continued if they have done a Certificate Course in Medical Laboratory Technology and have more than 5 years experience of working in the ICTC/ PPTCT/ ART centre urn under the National AIDS Control Programme. | 5. | District PMDT & TB HIV Coordinator | Essential: i) Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution ii) Applicant should have at least 50% marks in all requisite qualification. iii) Certificate course in computer operation (minimum two months) iv) Permanent two wheeler driving licence & should be able to drive a two-wheeler Desirable: i) Minimum two (02) years of work experience under RNTCP or five (05) years experience in any public health programme in a supervisory capacity. ii) Good communication skills in local language & willing to travel in the area of work |
