Tamil Nadu Rural Transformation Project Job Eligibility Details : 

Educational Qualification : 

  1. Chief Operating Officer (COO) – 12+ years’ experience; Master in Business Management/ Agribusiness Management from a reputed institute (Tier 1 Institutes only) 
    1. Experience in managing large Projects (guiding immediate next team of 20+ members and overall team-size of over 150+)
    2. Provides strategic directions towards achieving the Project development outcomes
    3.  Provides leadership to the work teams
    4. Anticipates, Creates and Defines Innovative Concepts in a Strategic Environment,
    5. Ability to Input to Strategies and Policy-Making, in accordance with overall strategies
    6. Demonstrated experience of contract and partnership management.
    7. Provide strategic technical and management inputs to CEO on critical decision; and
    8. Knowledge and experience in rural community based programs will be an added advantage;
    9. Essential : 
      1. Implementation, Coordination and Monitoring Experience of a Project that has implementation scope beyond 10 districts;
      2. Experience in at-least three thematic areas related to any of the following: i) business financing; ii) enterprise promotion; iii) value chain approach, iv) producer institutions; and v) skills development.
      3. Proficiency in building team and executing partnership with Government departments, private sector players, academia, etc.
  2. Associate COO – Business finance – 12+ years’ experience; Master in Business Management/ Agribusiness Management from a reputed institute (Tier 1 Institutes only)
    1. Functional knowledge and implementation in accordance with the Project objective of the component.
    2. Leading the work team .
    3. Liaisoning & network with the financial institution and TSAs,
    4. Documentation – operational manuals, guidance notes and others.
    5. Demonstrated experience of contract and partnership management.
    6. Implementation, Coordination and Monitoring Experience of a Project that has implementation scope beyond 10 districts;
    7. Experience in financing instruments (like matching grants/credit guarantee/capital grants/venture);
    8. Knowledge of institutions financing enterprises like producer collectives, micro-small enterprises, social/green enterprise and start-ups;
    9. Understanding of the incubation and innovation ecosystem like Sankalp, Villgro, Development Market Place, etc.,
  3. Associate COO – Skills and Jobs – 12+ years’ experience; Master in Business Management/ Agribusiness Management from a reputed institute (Tier 1 Institutes only)
    1. Functional knowledge and implementation in accordance with the Project objective.
    2. Leading the work team.
    3. Liaisoning with the stakeholders (for convergence partnership certification) and TSAs,
    4. Documentation – operational manuals, guidance notes and others.
    5. Demonstrated experience of contract and partnership management.
    6. Implementation Coordination and Monitoring Experience of a Project that has implementation scope beyond 10 districts;
    7. Experience in handling the skill development initiatives: NSDC or similar organizations, organizations such as ILFS L&T and other similar organizations.
    8. Aware of various skill development programs of the Government and other stakeholders;
    9. Understanding of CSR related initiatives and innovations related to skilling sector at large;
  4. Deputy COO – Eight plus years of experience. Masters in Business Management/Agri. Business Management from a reputed Institute.  (Preferably Tier 1).
    1. Implementation, Coordination and Monitoring Experience of a Project that has implementation scope beyond 3 districts;
    2. Experience in promoting producer collectives in farm and non-farm;
    3. Experience in promoting value chain linked agribusiness, marketing support, and service delivery.
    4. Experience of participatory planning.
    5. For Deputy COO position, proficiency in reading, writing and speaking in Tamil is mandatory.

Age Limit : 

  • Age No bar.
  • Except for Deputy COO – Age Less than 50 years.

Salary Details : 

  1. Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Rs.1,50,000 to Rs.2,00,000.
  2. Associate COO – Business finance – Rs.1,00,000 to Rs.1,50,000.
  3. Associate COO – Skills and Jobs – Rs.1,00,000 to Rs.1,50,000.
  4. Deputy COO – Rs.60,000 to Rs.1,00,000.
