RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has released the official notification Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 05/2026 to fill 590 vacancies for various Paramedical Category posts including Nursing Superintendent, Dialysis Technician, Health & Malaria Inspector Grade II, Audiologist & Speech Therapist, Pharmacist (Entry Grade), Radiographer X-Ray Technician, ECG Technician, Optometrist, and Lab Assistant Grade II across all RRBs and Railway Zones in India. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 15.09.2026 to 14.10.2026 (23:59 hrs).

            Candidates must have the requisite educational/technical qualification as on the closing date and are advised to go through Annexure A (Post Parameters) and Annexure B (RRB & Zone-wise vacancy details) before applying, since only ONE application per candidate is permitted across all RRBs.

Selection Process

  • Computer Based Test (CBT) — Single Stage, 100 objective-type questions, 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates using scribe)
  • Document Verification (DV)
  • Medical Examination (as per prescribed medical standards — B1, C1, or C2 depending on post)
  • Empanelment based on merit in CBT, subject to successful DV and medical fitness

Negative marking: 1/3rd mark deducted for each wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks: UR/EWS – 40%, OBC(NCL)/SC – 30%, ST – 25% (relaxable by 2 marks for PwBD candidates in case of shortage against reserved vacancies).

How to Apply RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026?

  1. Visit the official unified RRB website https://rrb.indianrailways.gov.in/
  2. Navigate to the webpage of your chosen RRB and locate CEN 05/2026
  3. Create an account (or log in using existing RRB CEN account credentials) with a valid personal mobile number and email ID
  4. Authenticate identity via DigiLocker/Aadhaar during account creation for smoother verification
  5. Fill in the online application form with post/zone preferences and all required details carefully
  6. Capture a live photograph (webcam/mobile) as per instructions — pre-existing photos are not accepted
  7. Upload scanned signature (JPG/JPEG, 30–49 KB) and SC/ST certificate (if claiming free travel pass, PDF, <400 KB)
  8. Pay the prescribed examination fee online through Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card/UPI
  9. Submit the application and retain the confirmation received via SMS/email
  10. Use the modification window (17.10.2026–26.10.2026) if corrections are needed, on payment of ₹250/- per occasion
