RRB ALP Recruitment 2026-27: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released RRB ALP Recruitment 2026-27 under Centralized Employment Notification no.01/2026, in which a total of 11,127 posts for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) for different railway zones have been announced to fill the vacant positions. Date of submission of online application starts from 15 May, 2026 to last date is 14 June, 2026. All interested persons can apply through the official portal (rrbapply. gov.in. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• 10th pass (Matriculation) from a recognized board

• AND ITI in relevant trades (or) Diploma/Degree in Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile disciplines.

Age Limit (As of cut-off date)

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 30 years

• Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for reserved categories (SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, etc.).

Salary Details:

• Basic Pay: ₹19,900 (Level-2 of 7th CPC)

• Additional allowances include:

  • Dearness Allowance (DA)

  • House Rent Allowance (HRA)

Selection Process

The RRB ALP Recruitment 2026 will follow a multi-stage selection process, consisting of:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT-1)

2. Computer-Based Test (CBT-2)

3. Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)

4. Document Verification (DV)

5. Medical Examination

The final selection will be based on the performance in CBT-2 and CBAT. Candidates need to secure a minimum T-score in the aptitude test for selection.
