Educational Qualification
NLC Notification 2025 as follows Qualification Details.
Qualification for Junior Overman (Trainee):
- Diploma in Mining, Mining Engineering, or an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government.
- Valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation 2017, or any other certificate in Mining that qualifies to work as Overman according to Coal Mines Regulation 2017.
- Valid First Aid Certificate.
Qualification for Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade-I):
- Diploma or Degree in any subject other than Mining Engineering.
- Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS.
- Valid First Aid Certificate.
OR - DGMS issued Mining Diploma with an Overman Competency Certificate.
- Valid First Aid Certificate.
